NEXT-WEEK
This sign slides the dominant "index-finger" hand forward and off of the base hand, then curves sharply to the left.
Note it is the knuckles and thumb of the dominant hand that slide across the base hand palm. 

next-WEEK
The dominant hand moves forward and to the left.

 


NEXT-WEEK
This version actually moves backwards and then flips a U underneath the base hand. Note the slightly different starting position.
Note: The base hand doesn't move.  Only the dominant hand is moving.


And, finally, you might see this done without the base hand. 
The movement here is the same as the sign above.  It moves backward then downward then forward in a quick flipping movement.
You just do it without the base hand.
