Note: "GROW (shift) GROW" means to sign "GROW" then move the sign a bit to the side and sign it again. This is a way of saying "garden." Some people sign "GROW" with a "G" handshape and call it an "initialized" form of the sign for garden, (I'd put that in the category of signed English rather than ASL).

Note: When done with two hands and a slight back, down, forward arching movement, a version of the sign LOW can also mean "demote."

Note: "MOW" is shown by doing a short little double movement that looks like you are pushing a lawn mower.

Sample sentence:  Every-SATURDAY GRASS MOW

Notes:
"QUESTION-MARK-WIGGLE"
Note: "qm-w" stands for "question mark wiggle." That is the process of holding an "index finger / x" hand up at the end of a sentence and wiggling the index finger (flexing it a few times so it changes back and forth a few times from a slightly bent index finger to an "x" handshape). This sign is sometimes used to add a bit of doubt, incredulousness, or levity to questions.  As if to say, "I'm not so sure you are telling me the truth on that."

Note: When you see a sign glossed with an "!" exclamation point after it that means you should emphasize the sign. Sign it a bit faster and/or a bit more exaggerated than normal.
